New international students are required to undergo a physical examination.

If the international student has already undergone a physical examination in their home country, they should bring the original copy of the “Physical Examination Record for Foreigners” to the university during registration, and send the original copy to the “Jiangsu International Travel Healthcare Center. The form should be complete with the standard physical examination agenda for foreigners. If there are incomplete sections, the missing examinations must be completed. Jiangsu International Travel Health Care Center will verify the complete physical examination form and issue a “health certificate”, which students will use to apply for a residence permit. Certification fee is 60 yuan per person.

International students who have not had physical examinations in their countries, or whose physical examination records are out of date, are required to go to Jiangsu International Travel Healthcare Center for a complete physical examination. The physical examination fee is 538 yuan per person (payment by WeChat, Alipay, or UnionPay).

International students are required to have an empty stomach when going for their physical examination. They must also bring their passports, original copy of the “Physical Examination Record for Foreigners”, and two 2 inch ID photos with a white background. The physical examination report is valid for 6 months.
