Currency Exchange

　　Currency Exchange service is available for foreign students in many commercial banks in Nanjing, such as Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Construction Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China,China Merchants Bank,Communications Bank of China and Hua Xia Bank.

　　Currency Exchange service is also supplied in some star-rated hotels, for example, Jinling Hotel, Central Hotel, Grand Hotel, but we suggest you to exchange currency in the bank for avoiding some troubles. Passport is needed in the currency exchange service. Please do not exchange currency in non-official designated places, such behavior is illegal in China and it would harm your interests, participants would be accused of breaking currency exchange laws.

Account of Local Bank

　　Foreign student may open RMB or foreign currency account with credentials in any bank in Nanjing, currency deposits and withdrawals service is available with deposit book, deposit receipt and credit card.

ATM

　　ATM service is available in China. Debit card issued by foreign banks, such as Cirrus and Plus ATM card could be used to withdraw currency in some ATM service. In addition, some other methods like Western Union are available to get remittance if ATM service is out of service.

Credit Card

　　International credit cards like Master, Visa, Diners, American Express and JCB could be used in some hotels, restaurants, shopping malls in China, but in most business situation, only cash and Chinese credit cards are available.
